solid release. took me a long time to get into it, but damn, its fucking fantastic! just like anything that is innovative and different, its a hard one to swallow, but further adventures is absolutely brilliant.

i just got the new stones throw LP on wax, Chrome Children. had that shit on preorder and they sent me a 7" percee p picture disc of a different version of the song on the album and a peanut butter wolf mix cd. good peoples @ stones throw.

Burial CD (not as good as I was expecting, maybe it will grow)?

We should have a most embarrassing record. I once had to buy a Shane Ritchie CD for my Mum's Christmas present (in HMV), things we do for our Mums!!!!!!!!!!!

some of those tracks are getting me hooked badly allready though :D
the game is one of the names i remember right now,
but yes there's some stuff that would people who talk bad about hip hop get confused on what the subject was again anyway.
i just have to get me boom music and microphone mathematics, then i'll be really happy (and offcourse the first quasimoto lp).
buying this lp was to compensate for missing out on madlib last sunday here in belgium though :D

I know what you mean mate my bank balance has continued to drop over the last few weeks and I don't see it getting any better any time soon. Who cares though when you're getting all this music :P

at a certain moment you won't be able to buy records anymore so that's waiting till the next payday
i as a home-living student work purely to get my records, but as it's via interim i'm not assured to work evevry weekend.
i could go to work yesterday and my banc account is increasing drastically so i don't see me bidding big money on ebay tonight anymore,
which is difficult because now i have to choose between manara hardcover books, hardcore gabber records, rey mysterio wrestling dvd's or just play it safe and not give out anything hoping that the new dubstep selection in brussels will be better than usual

Know what you mean man, a couple of years ago we were moaning that there was not enough being released (but at least we could afford it!).

this is what got me into madlib.

i was a pretty big fan of the lootpack (madlib's first group with dj romes and wildchild) with being exposed to the tune "the anthem" featured on dj rhetmatic's world famous beat junkies vol 2 cd. i heard "whenibeondamic" and was a huge fan after hearing that and copped the album.

i was a dj at a college radio station and someone left a copy of lord quas' "microphone mathematics" on the turntable when i came in. i flipped the record over and saw the stones throw label and was like BRAP! IM STEALING THIS NOW!

took it home, listened to it and i was like... wtf? this guy sounds just like madlib! i took the pitch down to -8 and bang, thats when it dawned on me.

i copped the first album and it took me a lil time, but i was pretty much hooked after about 3 listens. it really fuckin good, dude. highly suggested. its no where near as genius as the further adventures, but its a hell of a starter pack.

do this:

go cop these two albums : madvillain - madvillainy AND edan - beaty and the beat. get yourself about 2 grams. grab your bong, throw in either one of those cds and start taking bong hits compulsively. try to run out weed and smoke as much till youre seein shit. i promise you, you will be a changed individual for the better.
