Help with a drop.
Hi everyone.
I have a tune that starts off with a couple of different pads with lots of reverb and delay on. Things are spiced up with some clanking sounds with echo and some vinyl crackling and some rustle. I have a good clear melody that I've played with a round and soft crystal lead but I need a good transition.
It has to be a soft, yet markedly transition. Atmospheric pads moving into melody, it's not a bass drop. I'll try to find a perfect example when I get home. Any comments/advices?

Easy man,
I have the exact same problem with my tunes tbh. Im still new to all this, but I can rarely make tunes drop in a way that feels right to me.
So yeah, I quite often just don't! Sack off the drop? Turn it into something more progressive? If what you were planning just doesnt seem to quite work with the tune, then do something else!
