Everyone should check out EOTO: a live, improvised, electronica, dubstep duo. These guys are incredible and always bring the heat. They will be playing at Rothbury Festival this summer. Check them out and get your tix! The last day for their layaway program is April 15th.
See Ya There

It's great to hear all of this positive feedback! These guys are great friends of mine and have been touring like crazy to get their music out there. The show I saw in Tucson this past Feb. was full of dubstep...
you should check out the show here-> [url]

I am about to see them in Omaha, Lawrence, and of course Rothbury this summer...hoping for lots of dubstep

woah, yeah! that show was amazing yeah, these guys get sicker, and sicker each time i see them. when i first seen them, they were very much trancey, trppy dance music. but, i seen them at the winter warpdrive 4 rave, they had this past january in st. louis, and they were f'ing mind blowing. and on 4/20, they were just being grimey with it. theyre shows have totally went from a big switch up in style, to prodominantly DUBSTEP, which i fucking cant get enough, considering they show up to st. louis alot!
PS!

i was at that SUPERJAM @ ZOE! that freaking show was sick! the sci guys and the schwag/messy boyz were sick!
I cant get enough of this stuff..................

thomasflorence wrote:I dont know about sick, but they play some good jamtronica stuff. People should also be aware that it's not all dub.
I'm not a big fan of this scene that includes bands like Future Rock and STS9, but I like that EOTO's style is a little different. Sorry for the somewhat negative post, dont get me wrong def. check out EOTO. I just dont like the "jamtronica" scene as a whole.
I'll be there this weekend when they play in St. Louis.
oh, btw...
im not big on fraggle rock, future rock, whatever theyre called. but sts9 are pretty dope, and are some really cool dudes, influenced by ALL.
I cant get enough of this stuff..................

Yeah, EOTO is definitely different then the rest of the 'jam-tronica' scene. I think it is because they come from String Cheese Incident and that is really their background. The influence of world music adds a lot to their sound. I can't wait to see them play with SCI and follow with a late night EOTO set at Rothbury on Friday night!! I encourage everyone to be there if you can

yes they are different.
BRO, yeah! im definitely going to ROTHBURY! You hitting up Camp Bisco? Starkey's gonna BE THERE! Its gonna be a great time.
yeah, String Cheese def. is their backbone. And the 2 absolutely LOVE DUBSTEP!
Here is a URL to a 30 minute mix for FREE DOWNLOAD of them on 4/10. You totally can hear the DUBSTEP influence. And its FREE, and is nice just to have on the hard drive. When i seen them on 4/20, they were getting grimey with it! DIRTY! it was ILL!

I did an interview with Jason Hann of EOTO before their show in Boston on April 1, 2009. I talk to him about his origins with String Cheese Incident, his musical influences, his views on digital/live electronica, dubstep, rothbury, and more!
Check it out here:
