Battery 3 - I find the library to be a nightmare, you?
I love battery 3, its easy to use - lots like an mpc, great built in sounds, etc.
however - the number one complaint for me is the fucking LIBRARY
It never works! missing files, broken links, etc.
I'm currently in the middle of HAND COPYING every single sample folder onto my new laptop because the fucking library NEVER installs correctly or is recognized correctly
after I get done with this I get the joy of re saving every single patch so that the .kit3 files match up with the correct samples.
does anyone else find this thing to be a total fucking nightmare?

legit copy, no external
i've got them over to the new laptop, the "built in" stuff seems to be working ok - but i guess this is my real question
lets say u got 100 .kit3 files, and a pile of 5 GB or whatever samples that go along with them - however, they are NOT in the actual battery library - lets say they are on an external or just on a different part of your comp
when u open battery - and click on one of these kit3 files - it makes you search or specifiy where the samples are located - is there anyway to replace this in one motion?
i'm looking for something like what ableton has where you can just search and 'automatically re link' anything that is missing

Legit copy, same problem - broken links and missing files. Very annoying, maybe I have to reinstall. I remember when I installed first, it did not end properly and I had to copy kits manually.
Presets/kits are loading OK, but when I want to browse only hihats or kicks or snares etc then every second file is missing.
