Has any L 8 users experienced this that can help?
Started writing a track, so far using only software inst channel strips. Mid session, my M audio keyrig is no longer communicating. Cant retrieve it.
Its not hardware based cause ,if i open any other project or create a new one, they talk fine.. Gone over all preferences, settings and undo history, cant see anything, checked it all out against other projects. Cant find anything. TRied copying th e whole project to a new alias, same problem.
THis track is killa and i know i cant recreate it from scratch but i cant go any further with it. Can any experienced logic user give advise?

hm.. i've had my axiom keyboard freak out on me before and only have 3 keys work; it took a hard reset to make it go again.
always worth trying that, and powercycling it as well.
the fact that it's project-based gives me pause and makes me think that, at the absolute worst, you've got a corrupt project file.
try to see if you can open one of the backup sessions; depending on your settings, logic will archive them.
also, take the question to logicprohelp.com and see what some of the old salts over there can do.
good luck
