October's party at the Attic sees a return Manchester visit from Planet Mu hotshot Boxcutter with support on the night from label mates and Ninja Columbo head honcho's The Teknoist and Dolphin. Boxcutter, aka Ulster-based producer Barry Lynn, first played for us as part of the Eurocultured festival back in May, where he took apart a packed out Pure Space with his trademark melodic dubstep fused with live bass guitar. Although best known for his dubstep heavy productions, his eclectic style cover many other genres including jungle, garage and house. The Teknoist and Dolphin need no introductions. Veterans of the hardcore and gabba circuit the duo will be performing a special stripped down, dub heavy set to fit in with the flavour of October's Sequence. Support on the night comes from Bane, Eastern Bloc's jungle and dubstep expert and one of the hardest working Djs in the Manchester scene.

was a good night when i finally got past the door staff who werent happy with my tracksuit good sets from dolphin and teknoist (1st time ive herad dolphin since 1996 when he was playing techno) and an excellent set from the man boxcutter. not many people dancin but good atmosphere neway.
