What a year - this time last year we were waiting and waiting for Midnight Request Line to finally drop, Neverland had just come out and I managed to get hold of all the old DMZ/Hyperdub/Big Apple and Tempa back catalogue in an afternoons hunt around the net. And who was Scuba?

Now - Skream has released tons of tracks, DMZ are on 10 and all the back cat stuff has shot through the roof on ebay and is being repressed.
New releases every week, articles in mainstream press, events all over the world all the time. Dubstep on film soundtracks.
And we're at the point when the first artist albums are appearing - couldn't even have imagined that a year ago.

This time next year???

Yeah!

There'll be jet packs, and cars that fly, and hover-boards, and self-buttering toast, and, and, well, loads of futurey stuff.

This time next year I reckon:

Horsepower will be back in a big way,

Skream will be old enough to rent a car,

Ekaj will be signed,

Pokes will have tragically overdosed on buckfast, causing irreversable brain damage that causes him to speak like a Glasgow ned, thus cutting short his MCing career.

On a vaguely on-topic note, this mix is top. Well done all.
