I've been into dubstep for a few years now, and I'm ashamed to say I didn't know who David Rodigan was before now.

I'm a naive American so it makes sense I haven't. He seems like a crazy dude.

Dont be ashamed. David Rodigan has absolutely nothing to do with dubstep. He is a reggae/dancehall selector (dj) from way back. In reggae circles, eeeeeverybody know him. He is a legend. He has clashed with the best of the best jamaican sounds and won. And look at him. A 57 year old english white man, who doesnt even speak fake patois. He does have some of the most wicked dubs...(though dubs in reggae is a different thing from dubs in the dubstep world)
