certain old skool garage people who have moved into house play very good music, deep, prog, tribal, soulful house and and even some techno, when your playing and constantly listening to these sounds they open worlds to your ears and the genres are home to some of the most acclaimed producers and djs in the world, then, you hear some of these funky tracks, specially all thes skank ones, ones with not great vocalists, its hard to relate to that and even harder to relate to people that call it ''Funky House''. This isnt a dig at funky or the scene, i listen to baile funk, and that music is a lot more terribly produced, made and mixed than even the worst funky tunes!
Im not totally in agreement with UK house banner either, shops like blackmarket, reckless, VJ's and Phonica have had UK House racks in their stores for years, the end of the day its all house, do you think any of our more talented new generation of producers guy robin or wbeeza sit about saying im making a ''uk house track'' i dont!! its all house, its all love.
