I strike back with this Tune! :x

Listening now..

As I listen..You said

@Legend4ry: nice deep and spotless sounds! i like them.
only one thing: the snare in Polluted City keeps distracting me :p

Distracting how?

Anyways to your tune.

The intro was very good, got my hopes of deep, dark moving track so hearing wobbles instead of deep sub bass and not hearing that melody more was very disappointing. But its your track and the way you take it is up to you..

On the actually track, the drums are great - very good groove and the melody is great (in the intro/breakdown) the wobble is good sound, take the distortion/compression down a bit though, its sounds like its clipping to the extreme! apart from that, sure if you're into this thing it'll be a big tune, its a bit soulless for me though, just opinion not a badly produced track though, far from it! Just not my personal direction :)
first thx for the reply :)

then your snare, i don't know, it's a bit higher then the rest of the track and, maybe because of my shit earbuds they distract me a bit. When i listen i can't stop focussing on it. Maybe on a decent system the bass compensates it idk.

and ty for your comment on my tune! Well, wednesday i thought out that melo and put in in FL and i made a chill tune -unfinished- with it.
Then the next day my bike got stolen (haha everybody should know it by now ^^) and i left it till today. And now i wanted that feeling of the loss of the bike in there. It's like the one moment you think about it, you're never gonna see it again (laaaame) and then suddenly you're so fucking pissed of because somebody stole your bike! And then you realise again that it's gone forever. That's why the tune tends to 'change' so sudden like that. And why the breakdown and structure are a bit weird. And yeah the wobble is clipping and distorting like a madman :D

And thx for the comment on my drums. Believe it or not but they are all standard FL samples :p
I should start using some quality samps tho.

normally my style is a bit more chilled out. (Synkro, Quantum Soul, Scuba,..)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bI06Z76LX0&fmt=18

that's a chller tune i made, and i think that's more your kind of style but maybe not that dark.

Many thx for the feedback. I'm still kinda new into producing and it's fun to talk with skilled ppl who can help you out, give some tips and stuff..

Can't wait to hear some more tunes of you!

Cool wobble automation, and overall noice track!

@ Plainface

nice clip. Sounds like it's gonna be something. Maybe just hold in mind to bring in some variation. Sound pretty deep and nice,

@ dedman: Buda Finger is really well crafted and produced, but not really my cup of tea style-wise. I think it could do with an alternate melody making an appearance near the midpoint as a substitute for the chord comp. Basses are pretty creative tho.

@ Copious: Sound choices are kinda standard/boring IMO. There are some good creative ideas in Cortez, but needs more variations and sound design to make the more minimal beats work. The rasta vocal samples sound a little out of place too. Maybe work more on making the basic sounds lush and give them lots of impact to highlight the negative space around them. Drums are too quite for me as well. Good ideas, just keep at it and really work on getting the production up to the level of your ideas.

I've got a couple new tracks on my virb page. Called SOS Dub and Plasma. Plasma still need arranging work I think...

@ Knobgoblin: SOS Dub is good quality produced shit, but it was a bit weird too flashy, too trippy for me.

Then Plasma. I really really liked that oudoors-night-sample-thing during the intro. It created a realy dark n deep moody atmo. Loved also the pannings of those hats right before the drop. But when it dropped it went again -i was a bit dissapointed- trippy and weird. And it killed the nice flow, if you know what i mean. It's hard to move to.. But i do like that you have your own perculiar style. Just maybe try to keep the flow goin on :)

@ Deadly Habit: Nice track. Especially nice that you used a sax! (is it a sample or did you play it?)
But maybe try a bit more reverb to let everying flow together and making the whole thing a bit smoother, idk :s
And i loved the sample of the ppl in the beginning. It was a bit funny ^^

Lo, I have returned to this thread XD

I'm on my laptop with no headphones or speakers at the moment so I can't really post feedback but I will do tomorrow when I'm with my regular setup.

I'm looking for feedback on my two latest dubstep tunes on my myspace http://www.myspace.com/sativabreather

First one is called 'Watevs' and the second one is 'Cat'. Watevs might still undergo a few changes to get it totally polished but I think Cat is just how I want it now.

@2manynoobs: thanks for the listen. yeah, I'm coming to dubstep from more of an IDM/Industrial background so I like weird and trippy a lot...maybe I've done too many psychedelics...I'm also getting kinda tired of making straight dubstep club music and am trying to create a unique sound for myself. Unfortunately, soundcloud hates my computer and won't let me listen to your track...

@plainface - we just listening to the top track on your player yeh? i well like it altho its very short. Would like to hear the whole tune to give proper feedback but I like what I've heard!

@M-Ninja - Not really feeling your sub, is that a sine?!!? and your tracks are a bit minimal for my liking but they seem well put together.

@ Deadly Habit:

The title 'Undersea' suits the tune perfectly! Really enjoyed the track. Nice atmo, spotless sounds, just what we like! Also big up for that remix of that other tune of yours on fabriclive cd :)

@ paravrais: Realy like your artistname, and the tunes are very nice too. But Watevs could indeed undergo a few changes. Maybe add some crunshyness to that tune, idk why but i think it would do good to that track. And Cat.. just too short! it's a sweet tune. i like the intro very much, nice melody and build up but the wobble after the "drop" sounds a bit too soft and cheesy imo. maybe it needs a bit more higher crunshyness too, but not too much. Then the part after that wobble is very great, it's a weird atmo, it feels like being realy drunk and you know you're slowly loosing control.. Very nice! And yeah the vocals are big fun. They added even more drunkness :)

@ Knobgoblin: I realy like that you indeed want to have your own style, but i would realy love it if you could make a track with all that trippyness of yours -cause that's what ur good at- but stil keeping that "flow". Try to make something where you can move smoothly to, while your head keeps spinning and spinning of al the trippness :D
But ofcourse you don't have to, ur free to do what you want! :)
