You alive Rats? :o

Flying Lotus killed it on Saturday. That breakcore finish was amazing. I accidentally broke a girl's glasses.

Why am I at work?

Rustie was the best thing I saw this weekend. Well, him and EVERYTHING ELSE.

Even better than last year.

I've still not recovered from doing a fuck-ton of special things on the Sunday...

Flying Lotus was class. When he dropped Chainsaw, I thought I was going to shit myself. Must say, Caspa and Skream were a bit out-of-form from when I've seen them before, but Rustie, Flying Lotus and DJ Rubbish were spot on.

Haha, I'm feeling surprisingly alright. Think I got away with it.

DJ Rubbish was quality. Sittin in a K-Hole, feelin like an arsehole.

Skream was decent... played some good tunes, but he doesn't work as well when he's so far away from the crowd. Needs to be right in front of you to get hyped. Also... boy was turned out NICE... he looked like a lovely, polite young man for once. Was his Mum in the crowd? :P

Someone told me Zomby didn't turn up. Who the fuck was I dancing to before Caspa then? Old school rave tunes and dubstep sounds like fucking Zomby to me!? Wandered off from Caspa... decent, but needed to go and find some supplies in time for Skream.

Oh, and KILLING IN THE NAME OF.

Haha, when I heard Killing in the name of, it got to serious headbanging time. Then when I saw the mashpit, it Got to serious moshing time :) Shame they didn't leave it on for the "Fuck you, I won't do what ya tell me" part.

I left Caspa a bit early as well. Pissed me off a bit that he was in a different room to Skream. I had to cling on to the bannister for dear life going up the stairs. And I'm nt really a fan of that La Roux mix, and I heard it muchly over the weekend! The people from the chalets near us played it every half hour!

To be fair, I took some Mushies not long before Zomby was due to play, and my mentality wasn't exactly pin sharp. Quite frankly, I was scared to go outside and my body temp was all over the gaff. I'm suprised I even mustered up the strength to go see Caspa and Skream.

Few negatives about the weekend, though - My mate cut his cannister right open in the first hour of arriving by falling off the back of his chair and had to go home. He weren't even pissed yet, and didn't take anything, and he went to the paramedics and they advised him to do one, otherwise he might fal into a coma. :?
Oh, and I didn't pull on account of my speech being cunted for most of the weekend.

Watching the telly as well was quite good, I think Normski's actually a bit jokes, but not many people seem to like him!

Yeah, I think it wasn't Zomby. Some dude on Ravetalk reckons it ruined his night... he must have gone home crying before Flying Lotus came out or something. Whoever it was did a decent enough job of approximating what my mind was expecting anyway!

Yeah, La Roux remix is only decent. Luckily, I don't think we played it any other time or even heard it, so it made a bit of a nice dubstep love in with the Hard Crew, I thought!

My only negative was Snares having "technical problems" and cancelling Speed Dealer Moms (although made better by Ceephax calling them stnuc) and seeing paramedics and security rush over to the chalet where we'd been doing all our shopping. They seemed to leave with nobody in tow... maybe they're still there.

Speed Dealr Moms? I didn't give a shite, to be fair. Fair play for Ceephax for stepping up, but I would of gladly taken an alternative on the Sunday night.

Normski is a fucking ledge. I remember shooting the shit with a couple of bro's on the Sunday and lol'ing so hard when one of the texts read out by him were "65 Days of Static are twats and shit...65 Days of Static are...twats...and shit."

As I said, I only watched the end of Zomby. Pretty positive that that he's a massive tnuc, now, which is a shame, as it tends to make me enjoy his music less, pathetic as it sounds.

How'd your bruvva like it?

I'm still feeling a bit shite from drinking absinthe straight. That hip-flask I let you sip out of, yeah, I was chugging back that shit from 11 in the morning on both days :baby:

Did you go to the beach at all? Shit was so cold, so we went there for about 5 seconds on the Friday morning before doing one.

Hahaha... yeah, we went down on Saturday. Managed to find a bit of shelter from the breeze and it was actually pretty nice. Smoked a spliff, had an ice cream and watched the plane fly "Mum I'm At A Rave" around the bay about 2 minutes after we'd all decided they can't be doing it this year. AWESOME.

Dear Jim,

Please can you fix it for me to go to the Bangface Weekender again this weekend?

Yours,

I was smoking salvia through a spliff by the bucketload. Bonged it a few times, too, thought The Grinch was sitting at the chalet table...

That was proper immense. I'm still suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation (5 hours sleep across 4 days is not good!) but it was totally worth it!

One personal highlight for me was being a bit inebriated and shouting "WHERE'S DILLINJA" at DJ Assault cos he was overrunning, hahaha

Hope people enjoyed my set btw, I couldn't believe how busy it got! I recorded the set as always and here's the info and linkage:
