XxXy may be better known to the dubstep community as Forensix Mcr but in his new guise he's keenly focussed his energies on a pristine dubtech sound aiming for that school populated by F, Peverelist or Ghostleigh. A-side cut 'Reflections' is our favourite, keeping it simple with quick stepping rhythms driving the dance and given space with ever-expanding dub chords. Quick tip for the slow-house crew, play this on 33 and you've got a mean Workshop style slow groove! Flip over for two cuts heavily influenced by Dave Huismans, firstly 'Constant' snapping with 2562 styel percussion and and powerful subs, or the A Made Up Sound alike 'Silken' slipping in that niche between broken beats and dub-tech/house. Recommended!
