READING- June 11th- N Type, Heny G, Will Blaze+THC @ Mango's

Post by lofty456 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 2:27 pm

Resonance is back at Bar Mango for our second installment of dubstep pressure with the legendary N Type (sin city); support from the one like Heny G (gangsta boogie/deep medi musik) and Wil Blaze & thc (3.5 records)

"People once said that dubstep was too slow, dark and sparse to translate to worldwide dancefloors. Of course that was before the acetate addicted and overall sub-sonic miscreant N-Type showed up to prove the doubters so, so wrong.

Combining searing white-hot selection with a 30 dubs-per-hour freestyle mix rate, N-Type’s DJing style takes many cues from legendary garage don EZ, yet it is N-Type’s hyperactivity in the mix which really marks him out from the rest. Where other DJs maintain their traditional surly personae, N-type can be found raving it up in the booth, bobbing with the crowd, and sporting a shower-face of almost comic proportions.

Hailing from deepest Surrey, N-Type has been dubstepping since year dot. Orignally a junglist, then an avid fan of the dark garage sound, he was a regular at FWD>> since its Velvet Rooms days, a long time patron of the now defunct Big Apple record store and a grafter on pirate radio for over 8 years (first Delight FM, then in 2004, Rinse)."

Heny G Although only 23 can be reputed as one of the godfathers of dubstep, he's been in the game since the age of 15, makin tracks and and rinsin out dubplates at popular and well respected nights such as DMZ and Dubpressure. Also part of the antisocial crew you can find him at many a big event showing the crowd the definition of part vibes!

Once again we are blessed with the Bassment crew bringing the Drum n Bass vibes to our outdoor heated smoking area! The Bassment residents will be bringing a mix of upfront, liquid and oldskool vibes to this room, and if any of you have been to there events, you will know that these guys will not dissapoint.

Tickets £5 adv. (wegottickets.com) £6 on the door
Over 18's R.O.A.R. Drinks promo's on night

Last time there was something mad big at Mango (Chase & Status) the queue was fucking huge and we queued for like 3 hours and then didn't get in as it was one in one out so I'd get tickets to be perfectly honest.
