Re: FL Studio ---> Sh*t ???
I've been known to do this..........BrokenNo!ze wrote:You're probably the type of person who spends hours on end looking for different VST's believing that it'll improve your sound
Although admittedly, it was more to find programs with lots of features that are easy to use.
The more power you've got available, coupled with speedy work flow should improve the sound of anyone who knows what their doing!
you mean like handling .wav files?nowaysj wrote:Fruity doesn't handle audio well. Thats just a matter of fact, admitted by fruity's developers. Its audio handling has come a long way, though, and is enough prolly for a lot of peeps, and prolly almost everyone making electronic music.
But I've been getting more into working with audio for beats, and fruity just isn't good for that. Been using fruity for very close to 10 years, so don't trip, love it.
Moved from logic to fruity.
if that's the case, i have to agree.
although it would be hard to disagree if they admit it themselves lol
The beta ends in june - so maybe a late june / july release?

anyone who thinks FL cant manipulate audio well should check out http://www.myspace.com/metbiddler
all his remixes are done in FL only

I think this is a good thread...
All of you people who are FL only have probably never recorded audio on it.
FL is good if you want to be an underground producer forever, but eventually if you want to start getting vocalists, or other musicians into your studio you will need to use another DAW.
Benga uses FL for the step sequencer according to future music... He obviously hadn't learnt how to use Ultra Beats at the time, which is just as simple to use.
Personally, I think all the producers you have named in this thread who used FL have probably changed DAW by now.

if we would go back a few versions of FL i would agree whit you, but now when we got Edison i think this DAW is starting to become pretty much complete.WiREZ wrote:I think this is a good thread...

there might still be some editing functions i miss in edison, but nothing theres no easy workarounds for.
and i agree whit nowaysj, protools and cubase and such are more powerfull in the audio compartment, but they lack in other things instead, sequenzing for example.
