i still can't figure how why everyone knocks on FL so hard. is it because of the name maybe? the sequencer & piano roll are both a breeze to use, and have all of the functionality of other, more expensive DAWs.
i meet people all the time that ask me what daw softwaree i use, and they laugh when i tell thm FL. then they hear my tunes and want to work with me. i do use cubase & ableton from time to time when im short on ideas. the different layouts sometimes inspire me to come up with new stuff.
this is what i think of when i hear someone bitch about how ableton live so far superior to FL ->
