Leftism is in my top number 3 albums of all time. Such an incredible album, i've yet to hear a dance album come close to how good this is

i never listened to them in any huge amount back then, but of course they're worthy of any and all acclaim.

DUB.

Perhaps the obvious heirs to Jack Dangers in that department at the time? Makes sense to me.

In my top ten albums for sure. Still the best album to listen to during that after the club time. Nothing sounds more sublime than Leftism after a night on the Beans :D

When Tipper played out here about a month ago, he dropped Phat Planet as his closing track, it rocked the spot as much as it would have when it first came out. I still regard them as one of the seminal groups in electronic music.

Mr Daley

Was lucky enough to catch some of his DJ sets in the early 90s alongside the likes of Weatherall and Emerson. Weatherall was/is always my fave but I do (vaguely) remember New Years Eve about 94/95 ish with Daley rocking the fucking joint like mad. Great DJ, great 'band'. 'Not Forgotten' is the Prog House classic.

Also don't sleep on the multitude of productions they did for others.

The Sandals "Nothing' and 'Profound Gas' 12's are two of the best productions I have ever heard and still get regular plays.

Don't forget the Afro-Left ep, or their Renegade Soundwave remix.

Si Begg's remix of Dusted isn't too shabby either.

It was massive at the time and I can remember it was one of the first albums that gave the mainstream a taste of the dregs of the now long dead rave scene... but as i was into KLF, Orbital and some other obscure crusty electro bands, I never really got away with LF. Even today I think they're a bit 'meh'. Some good tunes but I think they're quite average to my ears :)
