BRAP DEM RECORDINGS presents the new mix from West Coast DJ SAM SUPA: DARKNESS & HYPE. This is the 4th in the BRAP DEM mix series and celebrates the launch of BRAP DEM RECORDINGS. The series has included mixes from STAYPUFTDJ (NIGHT KITCHEN-SF) and DJ KOZEE (BRAP DEM/REDLINE/BADMAN PRESS-SF) which have garnered thousands of downloads world wide.

Filled with mad sub-bass via a bevy of fresh forthcoming tracks and unreleased dubs, DARKNESS & HYPE showcases Dubstep producers from all over the world. The mix is presented with much variety and movement while staying consistent. Highlights include JUPITER by American Dubstep Trio BLACKHEART forthcoming on BRAP DEM RECORDINGS. Included is the exclusive DUB MAMMOTH VIP produced by WE DON'T SLEEP AKA New Zealand Drum and Bass producers THE UPBEATS and American MC and producer MESSINIAN. And finally this mix also features OLD DRUM DREAMS, an ode to the early days of Drum and Bass produced by SAM SUPA.

Based in San Francisco, SAM SUPA is one of the pioneers of American Dubstep. He has played alongside CHEFAL, DJUNYA, MRK1, FLYLO, HATCHA, CASPA, YOUNGSTA, MALA, PLASTICIAN, KODE 9, DZ, BENGA, SKREAM, STARKEY, JOE NICE to name a few and is one of the few Americans to ever play on N-TYPE'S RINSE.FM show. He is a resident of GRIME CITY the West Coast's oldest Grime and Dubstep night. He is one of the founders of SUREFIRE PRODUCTIONS which has gone on to become SUREFIRE AGENCY and SUREFIRE SOUND. Sam also started BRAP DEM one of the first Bi-Weekly Dubstep parties in San Francisco which has now launched the record label BRAP DEM RECORDINGS.
