Few people gushing about this on Nuskoolbreaks.com...just found this:
Author
Sakari
A new sound of dubstep is born for me. I've been waiting for something refreshin' to come up from this scene and here it is. Minimal tribal dubstep... I'm probably totally off the mark, but that's how I hear them. There's nothing unnecessary in either of these tunes and it's actually quite amazing how they can survive with so few ingredients, but I suppose good artists makes difficult sound easy. Now I just wish I could enjoy this masterpiece on a dance floor.
Clockwise:
This tune is like the deepest Buddhist temple. All delicate sounds forming a wicked mandala, complemented by the best snare I've heard. It is amazing how mental that snare sound is! Later the song gets accompanied by techno flavoured hi-hats breaking the beat gently and refreshing the song. I love how the beats change the overall groove on this giving it many faces. Top of the line!
Passing Through:
A post industrial badbwoi creating some hypnotic dance melodies. The bass redefines the word phat. Again there's some tribal drive on this baby. Truly a bomb!
