I'm sorry but isn't music supposed to be about, well, the music in the first place?
for a long time I thought of asking several known players in the scene if I could get specific tracks on dubplate, knowing that they might never get a release.
there are releases I'd burn onto dubplate and spend the fee of a day of work on having two tracks on a record.
but for wastemen who buy records to sell them with huge profit,
I wouldn't pay them with shit and vomit in a bucket if that could please them.
maybe I should ask those big producers for their dubplates,
people are making lots of money buying their rare records, I at the least would spend it on a cutting house.
the fact that people buy several limited copies to make profit got so far that at this moment, I have bought several record that I wasn't even fond of, just because I know they're sold out everywhere and unaffordable second hand,
and because I know myself, I get into a lot of tracks long time after their release, because they grow on me.
I was ashamed at blackmarket 2 months ago buying two copies of the same record, for me and for a friend of me,
ashamed because I thought they might think I'm one of those assholes making profit of music.
I just wanted to share this with you guys,
I really think it's a shame it got so far
