The entrainment freqs sound quite interesting... how would you go about including them in tracks? From reading your post, surely it can't be a bad thing if we can in-build a mechanism of calming people down when they listen to something (when it's desired, that is)

sorry going slightly off topic..

good luck reproducing 13hz mate. a 13hz tone will be inaudible on virtually all speakers and even very serious subwoofers will struggle to reproduce such a frequency. As for 6hz... give up. :D

hang on you're not talking about a real 13hz tone are you.... doh.
is it?

NO.

You're right, I think it's a good/useful thing, for sure, even if you're working people up! Some people just get a bit freaked out when they find out that you're fucking with their heads subconsciously...

I've used some of the vsts (see link in my post if you haven't already- Ultradia is my current fav') to pretty good effect, but what I mainly do is to figure out what sound(s) is/are the most common to a track -generally the bassline in dubstep/grimey stuff, occasionally a constantly echoed/reverbed snare or hit of some description- and then offset the left and right channels freq's... remember that you don't need the freqs to remain the same volume/tonality the whole track, but they DO need to maintain the same difference for the entrainment frequency to be established in your head...

I might dig up some more info and links and stuff and make another thread about this, if anyone's interested(?)

Binaural beats mastered into the music wouldn't, but I'd imagine that a sound-techie with enough knowledge and a decent mastering/mixing board could probably set the speaker array to do this, I guess... (I know someone I can ask...)
The entrainment frequencies as tones/hums should, though, although that may be a toughie... (see Batfink's post for why)

Let's just give up on bass and start concentrating on the extreme high end.

Intoccible you do chat some shit sometimes - sorry someone had to say it!

Get your misguided aris off this microcosm of existance and actually get out to a dubstep night over here - you won't see many people yawning I'm afraid - they'll be too busy jumping! When the bass wobbles people love it and it kicks off, and the proof is in the pudding. If you don't like it don't f**king listen to it. Next you'll be saying you're sick of the sub or some other shit.
