I'm NOT Bored of DUBSTEP, just some tunes that get too dark.

Post by vital sines » Fri May 15, 2009 5:44 am

There's so many new tunes I'm discovering that are only on Dubplate, so NO I don't get bored. There's a big SOULFUL revolution in Dubstep going on. that soothes the Savage soul! We need that sound of uplifting positive vibes in a time of economic breakdown, world turmoil, new world order stuff.

YEAH, I DO get BORED by all the Wobbler/Dark, Noisy, & Heavier Dubstep. so there's a balance.

I've fell in love with Silkie's mellower stuff, Von D's "Bon", and Synkro's newer "Heaven"!!!!!

Plus I'm always listening/playing out different stuff by Dub (reggae) artists, Rare Groove, Folk Funk (which I've been feeling at the moment), Deep House, Detroit Techno, Liquid D & B, some nderground Hip Hop, and older ROCK/ Garage Rock like The Stooges, MC5, Thin Lizzy & The Clash!!!

MUSIC!!!!!

"mahahah who cares? "

HUH?

I care when some of my fave music gets too dominated by one sound. it happened with Drum & Bass 10 years ago. some of the Dark & Heavy Wobbler stuff & Hip Hop oriented Dubstep just gets on my nerve. To each his own. I like the Dubbier older "Rankin" stuff & deep/soulful vibes

some u guys can be too AAAARRRRGGGGHHH, Fuck you attitude, when Dubstep should be Good vibes.

I too love the dark stuff but personally for me I don't want to listen to it all the time because it not always conducive to putting one in a good mood. I'm feeling more positive soulful vibes at the mo. Burial is good though 'cause I find its fairly neutral.

best way, keep an open mind. Dont instantly write off a tune because its dark or noisy. I dont think Im ever going to like or dislike one type of a music genre, theres always good stuff in most types

its all about the deep and dark basslines. wobble/hype tunes are good but i much prefer a nicely worked sublow bassline groove with a bit of atmosphere. deep tunes

dubstep allstars 2>>>>

i like it all anyways.

I really don't understand your need to complain since there are TONS of deep & soulful dubstep aside to nanny-killing basslines
THIS IS THE BEAUTY OF DUBSTEP

Wouldn't people not starting threads constantly complaining about Dubstep lead to more good vibes? We've had this conversation about 14 times this month already.

Some people like some styles of music. Some people like other styles of music. Some people like certain parts of certain styles. Some people don't. All people should buy and listen to music they like.

It's so fucking easy.

I agree with you boring.

Yo vital- this is Issa btw.

Honestly, dude, what are you looking for in a genre of music? Its fucking music... why complain about a genre getting too much of something your feeling? Shit, I have been feeling nothing but positivity from dubstep ever since I fell in love with it.

Last purchases I have bought this week:
1 x Deadmau5 & Kaskade, Remember (J Majik & Wickaman Remix) / Remember
(Caspa Remix)
1 x Boy Better Know, Too Many Man (Skreams Fire Workout Remix) / (Lemon D
Remix)
1 x FaltyDL, Human Meadow (Boxcutter Remix) / (Luke Vibert Remix)
1 x UNKNOWN, LOLLICLOCK / RACKED ELEPHANT : DUB & RUN, DAR007
1 x FaltyDL, To London / Metacognist / TOM@RAMP
1 x Nero, Act Like You Know / Act Like You Know (Dubstep mix) - Breakbeat

Thats what I have bought this week. Id say Im feeling every one of the tracks, and all are fresh. Dunno what you have been listening to, like any genre, there is some repetitive trite trash. Sift through the garbage and take each genre of music for what it is.

Btw, FaltyDL's album is going to destroy this year with (hopefully) Joker's album and Silkie's album.

I like my dnb to have piccolo snares, half time beats, apocalypse now samples, screaming, bell rides, contaminate breaks, tramens, double kicks, triplets and intros with just a hat every bar.
