only problem i had with shure needles is when there is a bit of a lip around the outside of the vinyl it makes it skip just at the begining cos there flatwooders wrote:Not sure if they're best for bass but I been using Shure M-447 for about 3 years now, I skratch a bit (badly) and I Love em! These boys wont skip in an earthe quake!
I've heard some say they wear your records out quicker but I havent noticed. Cant recomend them enough!!!!
I'm trying hard to define my music style but.......... Down right granny raping filth just isn't enough!!!

a sort of a special skratch dj oriented slipmat, with special material on the bottom side which touches the plate so that there is much less fricition with the turntable itself and they are like 1mm thin, which makes them take up a lil less place in the record bag. Basically good for skratching and for carrying about with you to gigs in case the promoter forgets the turntables need slipmats.dj ld wrote:Going off topic a bit,but what are butter rugs?
