Highbury Dub EP Reviewed In Mixmag

Post by lethem » Wed May 20, 2009 7:41 am

Im pleased to say that I have just recived my first review , big up Joe Muggs for writing it:

Highbury Dub EP
Moody, broody late-night tunes

Though these are definitely not going to tear up the dance, there is a brilliant "driving through the city at night" feel to this new producer's distinctive sound, and he has a grasp of proper dubwise echo FX that few can match - plus some nice reggae horns. These three tracks are very similar, but there's a lot of real promise.

3/5 headphones

Nows it time to get stuck in creating Interloper.
