Break Science is the culmination of a career of beat bending by its brainchild, Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee, who lends his keyboard soundscapes to Adam’s modern palate. Whether performing a DJ set with drums / programming or helming a live band, Break Science is club music in the vein of a “live mix tape,” blending live trip-hop, broken-beat, dub, drum & bass and hip-hop.
Inspired by hip-hop at an early age – in particular, by Public Enemy and Eric B and Rakim – Adam began his production career by making loops on a tape deck in his bedroom. He’s gone on to produce and play with some of today’s top artists, including 50-Cent, Redman, Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, KRS-One, MF Doom, J-Live, Jurassic 5, Justin Timberlake, John Medeski, and his own Fyre Dept as well as being a regular part of Wyclef Jean’s band. http://www.myspace.com/breaksciencemusic

DJ Odi is in great part responsible for the entire style of jungle music in NYC. His way of mixing jungle beats with Hip Hop has grown into its own genre. “Jump up” has been the defining style of NYC and the east coast in general since 97. Along with his crew, Digital Konfusion, Odi began spinning at NYC’s most dedicated weekly jungle show: Konkrete Jungle. Odi rapidly became a fixture, while continuing to travel the country, one of the first few to enjoy such popularity. Tonight ODI will bless us with an exclusive Dubstep set done his way. You’ve never heard it played like this! http://www.myspace.com/djodi
Dave GEE is quickly becoming a favorite in the NYC Dubstep scene. His party rocking style pays homage to the decade that he spent working as a Jump-Up Jungle DJ and promoter on the East Coast.
