Soon as we walk out the station there is a sign saying there was a shooting there last night, then loads of dealers coming up to u and loads of crackheads just straight up asking u for money in a really agressive way, not nice.

Brixton looks alot scarier than it is. I live in the neighbourhood and never get any problems. In fact the reason I moved over from Ireland is because of my passion for dubstep. Sure there's alot of dealers and crackheads hanging round, but if you completely ignore them they wont bother you. The shootings are gang related.

im so sorry, we weren't able to record it for the BBC radio show, because it was a seperate event, and it would be percieved as nepetistic (sorry spelling!)... the promoter did have a cameraman in there tho... let me ask him what he's doing with the footage and come back to you..

m/a.. x

sorry to cross post, but my experiences of hackney have been far darker than brixton... the crackheads are clearly plentiful but ive never heard of them doing actual harm, not when its busy anyways. i reckon for an incidental visitor brixton is much more bark than bite

im not actually from hackney, was a joke. Your probably right man just caught me off guard really, seems like the police dont even bother trying to stop most of the stuff going on there. Btw i read in the paper yestaday that Hackney is officially the worst palce to live in Britian. Crazy ay?

thankfully due to my drunken wanderings i've escaped on this video. but it's good to see my mate jonny reppin proper as always - the original bad man dubstep dancer.

Brixton High St is generally ok, there are plenty of worse places. The police have better things to do than hassle every weed dealer and guy after spare change. you should have been round there ten years ago lol

Nice little vid that. Although my hair looks like a proper mop job!

Great fun headbanging to Loefah though, maybe that's why my neck's shot to bits
