he's on the whole album except for the singles, which you know he isn't on.

i think releasing this as an instrumental album would be against the point. kode and spaceape have worked together on a vocal driven album for a reason. personally i think the dimension he adds is complimentary and doesn't detract at all.

i can totally understand what people say about spaceape. i think it's totally a love hate thing. the album is still very much worth getting. great on the headphones as well as blared on speakers.

I would LOVE it to come out on vinyl. Not sure about instrumental thing because i really like Spaceape over Burial and Kode9. I don't really use the stuff to play out on a set to people, but to simply enjoy it at home, if you know what i mean. There's club sound, home sound and sound which works on both levels. Doesn't mean that one is in any case better or worse!

It wouldn't make sense to release an "instrumentals" album. However, if he did a "versions" album, I would be all over that thing.

I really hope Victims gets a vinyl release.. absolutely sick tune. My favourite of the new bits on the album by far. Spaceapes flow really suits that kinda lilting, skewed rhythm..

got it over the weekend. it's growing on me steadily. i find myself getting caught up in the lyrics, which i think is intentional on 9's part. obviously, the standouts for me so far are : quantum, glass, victims.

i think the thing 9 should be most happy with here is the diversity of sound on this record. it's got direct references to older tunes like -ping-, and then goes off on completely new ground on tunes like glass. i love the textures in that tune.

overall a big statement, from the 9bizzle.

Yeah I agree. Space Ape's vocals sound so much more appropriate/natural on this than on Allstars Vol 3. I am really gettin down.

just got this. boy, it's great.
agreed it's brilliant home / dancefloor material, and that Spaceape is necessary, unlike dubstep allstars 3 imo.

as far as the album being on vinyl, 6 of the 14 tracks are already on that format. I think 9's planning on releasing another single too?

lovin' it!
