its a really good chilled song man, with some nice funny vocal but i like then you get it from him E.P
nice work Apathesis

:D much obliged. Glad you like the EP!
no problem mate, just a quick question what program did you use to create it on ? because am like 98% its been done on reason
clue number 1= the song exhale, the intro instrument is duclimer from nn-xt and some of the vocals sounds like yeh can be found in there sound bank cuz ino my slef i gone thur it a few times lol
clue number 2= then song funny hw things turn out, the trance like lead is defo someting from subtracker man

i quite familial with most of the reason sounds and can spot someone using reason a mile away lol but u never know i may be wrong and you may have used some thing else
I do use reason, logic as well (though mostly to arrange and mixdown).

However, the intro instrument is an acoustic guitar from nn-xt, and the vocals are sampled from porn! lol

The lead in "funny..." is from subtractor but i made it, I don't use presets on synths tbh.

I'm impressed that you could tell about reason though, it must be true what they say

haha from a porn movie, "Hmmmm these sex noises may sound good in a song maybe i should sample it loololol "

oo yh even if you want to have a REALLY FAT lead of a trance song no reason present will take you there lol, i need min of about 3 subtrackers)

haha thanks mate, you kind of get use to all the sounds after using it after a while uno what i mean.

hmm you no you sound exhale, the synth you have used for that is a very typically grime synth, if you would not mind sharing how you created it lol, sound like some triangle shit at about 6 oct giveing it that high ish sound but never tried it i dnt listen to grime lol.

the majority of boxcutter i've got is full-on breakcore, super-engineered stuff. What am i missing?
honestly, i thought the same thing. I was all "Mecha-Boxcutter?" I always imagine that if machines came alive at night to make music, it would sound like what he's done. Very technical. Very calculated. But I prolly wouldn't say he was too chill. :)

 indeed.

What the lead? Basically grime is all about the squares - keep them quite lowpassed and pitch bend and you should get there :D

No one seems to use them so much anymore though, which I miss - grime is all about the squares and claps
