at dmz vs bomb squad last year @ third base, he played nearly all of 2003-2005 digi mystikz and mala tunes. stuff like mawo dub, and even intergalactic. that was one of my favorite sets by far.

seen him about 8 times, when he does a deep set it is the best dj set u can hope to hear right now in any genre (only shackleton, move d, seth troxler comes close)

otherwise its average wobblers with steady but mediocre mixing
So when Mala isn't playing "deep", he's playing "average wobblers"?

Interesting..

Yeah I made the trek to WMC this year specifically to see Mala...
and as many people have said in this thread he was Mind blowing.
Hands down the best dubstep dj I have yet to see.
although I still have a couple to check off the old list

Mala changed my life in SF.
The most spiritual musical experience I have ever had.
His presence is so powerful.
Mind blowing.
Dude isnt kidding with the whole meditate on bass weight business.

Heard a different side of him in WMC.
Im deffo a fan of HIS stuff.

I hope all you Denver kids are ready because your lives are about to be changed forever.

since when did Mala do radio?
nah like the radio 1 mixes he has done, the red bull mix, the mixes on kiss ect.

yeah seriously, first time i saw him i literally stood dead still for the majority of it just in chilled out/euphoric/shock??? i dunno lol

Yeah with a couple deeper beats here & there.

Thats what makes him a good DJ though, if the crowd is into that aggressive sound he will cater for them, if they aren't he can take you on a journey.

I reckon you should go and listen for yourself though rather than reading what people say about him on a message board, because with music everyone is going to have a different opinion and view of the same set of events no matter what.
