Sounds slightly too slow to my ears and sounds very Burial-esque but it's a good start. Think the riddim might need making a bit more skippy though as it sounds a bit weighted down.

Funny really, as I usually make dark garage (although I always thought of it as dubstep) and I'm just finishing a half-step tune. I'll post it up later for everyone's delectation (or dismay)
Hmm....

Really liking this. Don't find it too slow at all.

:D

Would prefer a tighter HH ... but perhaps that would be detrimental to the track - dunno.

Fininsh the track and send me a 320 asap

I agree with Shonky, though. Very Burial-esque.

as far as unfinished riddims go this is pretty good

the beat needs a reworking, specially the hihats. it needs to be more choppy and skippy.

by the way did you sample any other tunes? or is it all yours

I rekon Burial will be on some Tempa T vibe if he hears this one;

'Catch 'im out the back of the flats'

'SSSSSSSWWWWWWWWIIIIINNNNNGGGGGG'

nah, its good tho, yr sounds are heavy, in general from the bits I've heard, but you need yr own flex on these sounds,

and it sounds slow cos its missing a hi-hat/shaker/percussion part, almost sounds like one track is muted out, I wanna bob my head to it but its not there.

well it sounds slo cos its 125. hah.
but yeh. i can't get away from the burial bitery. those vibes just got me.
think i'm gonna take this as influence n carry on in the direction i was heading. cos this sound has already been OWNED.
(give a few years tho n it'll be a genre in itself....)

for posterity: tunes sampled: what is love - haddaway n livin joy dreamer for vox. all about the shit you'd hear on the waltzers at the fair. nostalgiastep.

This the one with the sample at the drop ?
Big tune if so, love the b-line.
