Well I think you need to sort out your priorities.
Maybe a few shit refixes of classic tunes, already kind happening with Chimpo's dreadful Neighborhood refix. Obviously there will always be people who are in the scens just for money and also people who jump on generic templates and make a typical song, but at the same time there will be people who steer well clear of this and do it for love. I believe burial is one of these, i mean he's never done a gig and he clearly just makes music because he's got creativity and wants to express it.
Still, Dubstep doesn't have to change if you don't want it to, just follow Mala, Loefah, Coki, all the people who show no signs of changing and you'll find love in this music! I will never stop supporting this shit!
don't worry, even if it all turned to crap tomorrow (not very likely), what's been done in the last 5 years will be the inspiration for the next generation.

Coki changed a lot, his music is getting darker and sicker at the minute, and Mala changed a bit too.
All in a positive way though.

Dubstep has evoled beyond dubstep, get over it and start listening all the awesome crossovers between Dubstep, Grime, Funky, Techno, House and more that people are pioneering new sounds from right now.
