Heny G [Antisocial / Rinse.fm]
Bok Bok [Night Slugs / Sub.fm]
Ramadanman b2b Ben UFO [Hessle Audio]
Apt Pupil [Radio Frequency / Metropolis]
Jangle b2b Goli [Ruffage]
On Thursday 4th June Ruffage will be taking over a room at the Custard Factory for a one off special.
Headlining will be Heny G, who has been on the circuit since before this scene was named. Not only is he one of the tightest DJs around, noted for his melodic yet energic style, but his productions have now started to generate serious hype. With a bag full of exclusive dubs (many forthcoming on his Gansta Boogie label), this will be a set to remember.
Expect an energetic mix of UK sounds from the very talented Bok Bok, coming especially from London for Ruffage. Co-promoter of Night Slugs and an established DJ in his own right, Bok Bok has become well known for his daring and forward thinking selections, blending grime, bassline, dubstep and funky house - a far cry from the sludgy, monochrome seriousness of much mediocre dubstep.
Our headliners are supported by Ruffage residents Ramadanman, Ben UFO, Apt Pupil, and Goli b2b Jangle. As founders of the respected Hessle Audio imprint, Ramadanman and Ben UFO will be playing a back to back set packed with exclusive forthcoming music from across the spectrum of dance music. Apt Pupil has made a name for himself through his legendary Radio Frequency shows as well as frequent dates for the massive Metropolis clubnights. Ruffage crew Goli and Jangle will get the dancefloor moving from early, with a special back to back set.
Dave Spoon and the Scratch Perverts will be headlining in the Marquee Tent.
