The Arches and it's magnificent sound system hosts a Junior Boys jamboree thrown by three of London's best party promoters, bringing together WE FEAR SILENCE, the new venture of two of The End's programming team, EAT YOUR OWN EARS, and the legendary GRECO ROMAN.

JUNIOR BOYS
Unique Canadian electronic pop digital disco outfit JUNIOR BOYS play a special club show in support of their new album out in April on Domino in early 2009 with a live set that sees them pay homage to Kraftwerk, Scritti Politti, and 'Violator'-era Depeche Mode as they blend synth-pop with a melodic slice of electro and live drums.

'...suggest talk talk produced by Timbaland.... junior boys' spectral vision of electronic pop is an understated, unpredictable delight. THE GUARDIAN

'Its heights eclipse virtually all other music this year.' PITCHFORK 8.9/10

"Both 'Birthday' and 'Last Exit' pair quaint synthpop arpeggios with irregular rhythms more suggestive of contemporary R&B, the array of wiry analog tones highlights Greenspan's shadowy voice as though illuminating him in profile." THE WIRE

GRECO ROMAN
Run by a collective of London vinyl troublers that includes Hot Chip's JOE GODDARD and the legendary DJ ROSS ALLEN, GRECO-ROMAN are the genre-defying record label and beneficent hosts of the best bacchanals this side of Hades.

SHACKLETON
Shackleton's unconventional take on big basslines and complex beats doesn't fit into easy categories and that's how it's going to stay. Shackleton has been carving out his own brand of eclecticism on releases so far with intricate, snaking percussion, hypnotic melodies, seriously deep bass lines and dubwise sensibilities.

PANTHA DU PRINCE
German producer PANTHA DU PRINCE also known as Hendrik Weber mixes up an hypnotic, intricate combination of melody and dark, heavy techno beats, dreaming music with arrangements that are lush and textural, energising yet melancholy; sounds and ideas underplayed by a tech-house beat.

CIRCLESQUARE first set hearts racing with releases on Trevor Jackson's Output label, a home to diverse electronic outsiders Black Strobe, DK7, and Colder, but unlike his peers fluo-funk or digitized minimalism, Circlesquare's brooding, bass-fuelled sensory exploration was purest minimal electronic meltdown.

CARIBOU (DJ SET)
This maker of carnival-esque whirls of ridiculous melodies, stampeding beats, and furiously harmonised vocals, is also carving a name for himself as a DJ, drawing on the last 40 years of krautrock, hiphop, psychedelic, folk, rock and pop music. Free spirited musical abandon abounds.

I'm away, sad to miss this - Shackleton at fwd was the best thing I've ever heard. No exaggeration. Junior Boys, Caribou and Four Tet are pretty handy too
