2 house/funky tunes for feedback

Post by djg » Mon Jun 01, 2009 10:15 pm

yo dsf, these are two house tunes i've made over the weekend for fun. really enjoyed the experience. first time i've ever messed with the genre. i'd love get some feedback on them from. they're a bit faster i think than standard stuff (?) - 135 and 133.

drop 'line 8' by about 10bpm and you got a seriously nice deep house tune.

yeah i reckon you're right, it was my first ever stab at house though and i think i wanted to make something i could mix in with sets of 140 stuff as well. i'll be the first to admit i don't have the first clue about house honestly, just really having fun with the groove and vibes. more slower stuff in the future probably though. nice1.

i'm feeling both tunes, but "round" has to be my favourite. great percussion & bass and i like the steady, subtle progression of the tune. works really well imo.
