making music while tripping (back in the day) is possible and fun. maybe not productive but fun.

when my doctor was dumb enough to buy the add hype i had adderal everyday. my beats were ridiculous, so many edits, there could never be enough edits.

but now if i do anything ill make a song sober, reflect and make changes smoking a doob if i must smoke a doob.

that sounds like you have some sort of attention disorder. it's not a good idea to self medicate yourself. go see a doctor or something. i'm being serious.

I tried producing high once.
And i will never do it again.
what came out was so fucked up i cant even begin to explain.
the best words would be A dark psy trance with dubstep drums and a wonky bassline followed by me doing samples that sound like bill cosby on meth

I normally produce completely sober... maybe some caffeine sometimes. Weed is nice for listening to tracks, but it doesn't help me at all producing them.

I find that if the song that I'm producing is good enough it can feel like a drug while I produce.

On trips I make weird abstract soundscapes.
On weed I marvel at my own creations, followed by tweaking the same synth patch for an hour.
On mdma, fuck making music, I wanna listen to music.
On ket I make the odd layer, then zone out for a good 20 minutes before continuing production
On coke, I'm a little worker bee.
On booze, I'm too lazy to make beats.

...And that ladies & gentlemen is my guide to getting high and producing.

Everyone is a worker bee on coke but it dont necessarily transcribe to quality - listen to Oasis (if you can bear it) they thought they were fecking brilliant!

I think they must have been, especially when Liam Galagher compared himself to the Beatles. Must of had put a fucking 8ball up his nose that day!

always produce after smoking weed, i seem to really get zoned in after smoking a bit and next thing you know an hour has passed and i've made something really fuckedup.

2 things to take note of though:
1. i always set-up my shit beforehand so i just blaze and start creating immediately. trying to set-up stoned is the worst time-waster ever.

2. the weed here is probably less potent than most types you are used to. i live in the tropics and there are no purple/green/orange/red strains here.
