Four-to-the-floor dubstep?

Post by citizen » Sat Jun 06, 2009 12:34 am

Can someone suggest some quality stuff in this vein, preferably on a deeper tip?

Yes, I've got Headhunter and 2562's albums and various 12s, and a few other things, but I'm keen to hear a bit more as it sure makes for a fun switch up in sets.

Digital/vinyl/whatever - hit me with your recommendations.

Thanks for those suggestions, but to be honest, nothing there is really what I am after.

What do you mean by four to the floor dubstep?

If its four to the floor then surely its techno/house?

Anyway, Maybe try

Ben Klock - Gold Rush
Sigha - Any of his Hotflush
October - His new one on Caravan

Komonazmuk - Bad Apple. almost techno really but dubstep seems mainly to be defined by who made it so i guess you can call it dubstep :D

the 4x4 with the half step snare is a very cool drum pattern, has a kinda tribal feel!

DjG - bunker is one of my fav 4/4 tunes, super deep, slow progression

I've always been a sucker for kromestars living fire

Surely headhunters got some tunes along this vein you'd feel

Loving this thread, thanks for all the recomendations y'all

Grimelock has some good 4x4 stuff. But almost everything from that are dubs.
