3 new METALBOX bits .

Post by metalboxproducts » Tue Oct 10, 2006 12:17 pm

The conversation. Minimal. Well kind of.

Totel eclipse. mellow.

The fun house. Not finished yet,but i thought i'd put it up anyway.

I have some more tunes ready to go, but there just isn't enough room on the music player for them.

Feed back please. 320 are available for any one who wants them. I'll be away from my desk for the next few days so be patiant. To every one who i usuelly send tunes to you'll have them soon.

Cheers

3 very good tracks, i think. fun house is my favorite, good beat, nice effects, good atmosphere as a whole. with total eclipse i don't like the flute so much, and there could probably be a bit more viarity in the beat - but that's more about a personal taste of mine. the voice-sample works as an uplifter, good move! and i really like the breakbeat that sometimes appeard very decently in the background - somehow reminds me of some geeneus productions  conversation is the most conventional track of the three, beats and the used sounds remind me a bit of nu breaks, which i personally don't like too much. however, still a solid production.

and yes, i'd love to have the 320s! :)

Like Funhouse good groove, got that growing sense of psychosis that I admire. Do think that maybe some more abrasive midrange sounds dropped occassionally might give it that surprise element of "what the bejeezus".

Like the elements in Total Eclipse sounds very tripped out, like the wierd flutey, vocal pads (although the flute needs a bit more variation to sound realistic)

The Conversation sounds like old Mo'Wax (more electroey end), definitely more of a hip-hop affair
Hmm....

Just sold my original copy of Headz on e-bay the other week as I didn't really listen to it that much. Still got that RPM single though, monstrous bass on that. Think a lot of the old trip hop sounds quite similar to some dubstep what with the slowness and the minimalism. Good to have ya back
Hmm....

Oh, I forgot to mention that it was mostly enjoyed by stoners so that clearly sets it apart from dubstep. There, completely different, all's fine, nothing to see here

Think that worked, phew
