I think Skream like every producer goes through stages. When he finds a perticular sound/style that he likes he'll stay on it for a bit and then move on.
If there is something that you've found that you like and you're enjoying (and this goes for anything in life) you stay with it for a while, its normal. Look at all the areas of music he has moved through and some of the amazing tunes that have come out of them. recent e.g: Love dont Come Easily > Love The Way > In 4 the Kill. (there are many examples) He progresses through a sound.
He progresses through more different sounds in a couple of years than most do in 5, and more often than not with some pretty great results. He also produces a crazy variety of different style tunes simultaneously. That you like a certain kind more than others is normal but to put it down to production laziness is unfair. I think he suffers from those sorts of comments because he's doing rather well for himself and is therefore a sort of focus for people to comment on what they dont like within the music.
Just hold tight, because even if you dont like this one or next one or even the next next one, the track he producers after that will something you really really like; and this could all happen in a week knowing his production speed. He might 'only' produce 3 tunes a year that you really really like but thats probably the same as another producer that only produces in the particular style you like.
You just cant expect to love every single tune from a man that produces so much and such variety!
I might be completely off the point with this post. Just my views.

and on the dnb, I agree the new Instra:mental, D-Bridge, Calibre stuff is sick.

word, and I'm really feelin the dn'b sessions on his show, tbh. since I've been a dn'b head for a while before I was into dubstep. so it works really, I get my two favorite genre's in one show.

yeah fair play to skream, the only thing i dont like about his music is those dnb build ups to the drop all the time..

I know how the fuck does he manage to play all over the uk and the world and manage to still have such a high output of tunes. Answer= Because he's a don.

stamina mc has a weekly show on tuesday nite, covers lots of d&b

rinse has never limited itself to this or that style, it's not about boundaries

not really feeling metal mouth. i like a tune to either be a banger or a roller, but i kinda feel metal mouth has the vibe of a roller with the sound of a banger, doesnt really work for me.
loving everything else in the player tho, skream does it for me with most of his stuff.
fuck knows how metal mouth and what did he say sound the same though? not at all!

I don't think anyone needs to worry about Skreams output. Like someone said about the fields of emotion track, i think the albums gonna come out and just be on a different level, like stupid next levels. He's been there since pretty much the beginning of the scene and Im sure he'll still be moving forward for a long time.

the few dnb tunes ive heard him play are bad, especially 'melodies' by spectrasoul, dutty tune! end of the day its whatever the man wants to play innit , as well..... it is his show.

I'm always tuned in 9 o'clock Wednesday night and cannot really fault the big man, however, I'm not sure how anyone else feels about this but Ive found the music he plays out on his show and sets is getting a bit more..i dunno, mainstream pops into my head but that really isn't the word, perhaps a kind off movement away from, well, the roots? I don't know, definatly can be a very good thing, for example Emalkay - When I Look At You is absolutely sick...but..It seems, in a way, like its going down the rusko route..ish? but still very groundbreaker killer stuff

but then you have Magnetic Man... *bliss*

Anyway,
Ive got a lot of respect for Skream, superhuman artist

I am not hating the guy in any way

always quality beats from the man... I am just a little disappointed that his more weird styles (e.g. Clap Your Hands-stuff) doesn't get released in the same rate as the more popular stuff.

Who remembers Fucking Nutter/Bleeping Nutter??
would love to cane that one on dubplate though!
