nothing i'm not used to

people fuckin think they can post on any message board even remotely pertaining to music and start hateful threads, 90% of which never even post more than once or twice in their thread

maybe this dude just doesn't know anything about dubstep or what not, but clearly this thread has "idiocy" and "waste of time" written all over it

What do expect from Lojik- His email is even queerer than he is EMOKIDSMITH
I don't think he has a place in dubstep anymore.. Might as well go produce Trance again.. Good luck getting a gig in the dubstep scene..
Might be time to change your name to blacklisted..

I enjoy the passion of the Joe.

Maybe buddy was sensitive to the 'if you dont like this one you must have been home schooled' jokes.
Joe's tone reminds me of Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter, hes got this tone that just kind of says. 'this one is a real killer, ive seen it maul a heard of wildabeasts many times!'
And its not like he's pulling stuff out of his ass when he talks about gauging others appreciation for tunes he's dropping.. i think the guy is booked solid until 2012.

But not like there arent three hundred other dubstep radio shows for anyone to tune into. i bet there is the "little Goldilocks hour' some where where the tracks and the dj's are just right. just keep hunting.. not hating.

Joe = entertainer and a really smart/interesting dude to talk to.
If you think Joe talks too much about Dubstep don't engage him in a conversation about sports :D
Some people piss & moan about our limited chatter on our radio show.
It's RADIO, there will be talking, deal with it or tune out.

Lol I seem to have ruffled quite a few feathers here.

Silly of me to think you were allowed to post opinions on a forum, won't make that mistake again

In reply to one of the comments, the reason I stopped posting in here is becuase believe it or not it gets quite annoying reading page after page of personal insults (yes I am aware my first post may have come across as an insult whereas it was just an observation I have made based on what I have seen), even on an internet forum.

To Notch, I am also aware of how embarassing that email address is but I made it when I was 15 and havn't yet got round to changing it lol. I would appreciate it if you edit your post so spam bots can't get to it though. Also dude, you're 27 and FAR too old to be sending insulting messages over Myspace, grow up.

Anyway thats what I've got to say for myself, hope people enjoy insulting me for another few pages! Peace :)
Out Now:

Stop trying to make out this is all about you, or that you have somehow done something clever by "ruffling feathers" with your ignorant post. The majority of this thread is not insults at you, but bigging up of Joe Nice.

Please stop trying to be self-righteous about it, you did a stupid thing. You posted an ill-informed insult about an important player on the global scene, and loads of people are contradicting you by saying how much they appreciate him as a person and DJ. The fact that most people HAVE responded in such a positive and passionate way, and not complained about "haters" etc etc is actually very encouraging. Let's keep it that way :)

this thread while reterded on one level, does have merit as it illustrates some of the baggage that comes from being successful in the public eye, even in a relatively small community like ours. it shows that if you put yourself out there people are going to take cheap shots at you.

before you go giving your opinions, ask yourself how well your personality would hold up to public scrutiny?

that is if anyone knew who you were.

i don't think that many people realize that, joe nice has been into this music since 2002. thats 7 years of work. 7 years, doesn't mean that he's not open to being criticized, or even gunned down on the internet. as someone said before, he's public property now, and to a certain extent, it comes with the territory.

what it does mean though, is that you've got to get up earlier in the morning to think that this kind of cheap judgmental bullshit is going to ruffle his feathers.

and to those stirring up the UK/US thing, try harder. its like a fucking violin right now. there is no beef, and the more you try and create some, the more you look ridiculous.

Well said.

Joe is a class act, and absolutely worthy of all of the praise in this thread. What some people see as arrogance is simply a huge amount of passion for this music.

i can kinda see where joe is coming from anyway, i gave this guy like 6 dubstep cds and he said he didn't like it because it was too slow (??)

thats like exactly what hes talking about, a lot people dont really have the patience for electronic music to really understand it on the level you need to be at to 'get' dubstep

thats just how it is

Joe Nice introduced me to dubstep in the states, and for that I am forever thankful. Much love to you Joe! Thanks to you, I am part of the greatest family around!
