2 Tunes from RASPIAN, HEAVY, (Even screaming in one)

Post by raspian » Tue Jun 09, 2009 12:12 am

Hey guys, sorted out a new profile on here so I have Raspian not penguin snares anymore . . . not sure what that was about anyway haha.

Anyway finished up 2 new tunes, there on the myspace player for a listen.

"Surrender" Was done today with my good mate chilli and convinced me to put his screaming as were both familiar with the style. You might notice a bit of a beatdown in there haha.

"Titan" Is a bit of a destroyer but they both are really!

All feedback is appreciated, Surrender will be given out as a 320 as soon as I clear it with him.

Titan however will be sold. Yet I think the rasta sample is copywritten.

ENOUGH.

Listen :)

mmm...i actually don't really like the harmonics of either song eh...they both strike something shrill that almost makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and not really in a good way...

filthy as fuck for sure and your composition is fucking awesome...i love the guitary sounding synths you use but i really think those could both do with a master polish to get them sitting a bit nicer...

i may also be full of shit...

@Cyberdyne You dont like the harmonics? Oh fair enough. I thought they were wicked haha.

As for the bass, its a new technique im using so i guess the clarity will come when i mess around a little more.

Well always learning. Yeah i mastered them a little but im really not very good at it, and im gonna get Titan properly done.

Thanks for the feedback man.

Good stuff! Good stuff indeed!

Dunno whether its my speakers or what but it seems a bit sub-less?

Must be your speakers, i think the sub is hitting from 30hz to about 80hz normally about 40 - 50 for pure rumble :)
