whats wrong with me looking fwd, i downna go bk just yet, infact, i can do that anytime.i dont spend my money i have 2 hear the same shit again and again.

i even spoke 2 heny g at dub4life which he was booked for and didnt end up even playing(i payed £fucking 15) and the only reason i went was because of him and jfive, and i asked him why didnt he play, and he said things are just political right now

it kinda confused me coz i see him as a god within the music, such a polite young man and humble, and that just pissed me off even more as he was so alright with the whole situation

things like this shouldnt happen to some1 whos a god and doesnt play ur avergae lfo crap

i have a fucking right to moan, its just the same crap each week, each month on a majority scale

Why moan about it, time spent bitching about the 'good old days' could be spent finding new tunes, theres plenty out there if you're looking. You cant expect a whole genre to not 'go' anywhere, people are always branching out in new directions, some of its bound to be shit, but if you look theres always something new/interesting.

Everything evolves, people's influences change and in some cases their motives change.

No music ever stayed the same forever - new people come along and shake things up, then the old heads try new stuff.

Of course its still dubstep, its just evolved.

i moan about it coz i can, what da hell are YOU gonna do to stop that?
and for ur info, when im @ work in the day, do a whole heap of downloading and searching, and nothing comes across original 2 me anymore which is a shame, coz dubstep for me is the most diverse form ov dance music out there, but shit music is shit music, and good music is good music....my opinion

so the fact that i wasnt as 'moany' bk in the times between(1991-2000Hardcore,Jungle,DnB)and the internet was dead shit, and now we have everything 2 find things and im unhappy says alot

at least wid dnb i always found something fresh for a long time runnin

get my drift now?

Can only be a good thing. Means listeners have a wider variety to pick and choose from within dubstep.

And of course, like someone said before, there's always gonna be the old stuff if you get bored...

Well, I dislike the new sound of Dancehall but then again. I dont have to listen to it. Now do I?

On a serious note: I would say its progress and development. Bob Marley would not sound like he did in the late 70's and early 80's if he was still around.

I'm not one for genres and tags.

If it's a good tune, it's a good tune - regardless of whether it ticks all the criteria boxes of what makes a dubstep tune.

Oh - and nothing lasts forever.

I swear it was somebody on here that first said

"music is like wine, it differs with age".

and it's a very true statement.

good and bad stuff everywhere.

tbh i think dubstep is much better now than it was a few years ago. sure theres loads of shit, but theres loads more interesting stuff too. just look for different people i guess, search harder.
