£80m
Yes, the guy is a preening, petulant, arrogant prick, and I hate him so very much, but I think the premiership will miss him. Scored some spectacular goals (a couple against Villa I might add

).
But still I fail to see how any human being can be worth £80m. Just shocking really, especially in these current times. I find it a bit nauseating.
Edit:
here's the link.

Give me Ribery and Benzema or Villa and I'll be a happy camper.

You fucking idiot. £80m and all the trophies he's helped United win and that's all you can say? The lad's been brilliant for us, but he wants to go to Madrid, good luck to him.
Go and support City you ungrateful wanker, you small time glory grabbers are not welcome at Old Trafford

Ribery doesnt want to play in the EPL, he doesnt fancy the British climate. Maybe the 80 mill will got to paying off the Rags debt or buy Torres from the Bin Dippers.

Villa and Ribery will probably end up at the Bernabeu as well tbh.
Saw this Cristiano Ronaldo shit coming a mile off, it's obvious he's wanted to go for the last season, he's even bought domain names in Spain months in advance etc. Man U will need to get buying some folk or Chelsea could end up being a threat, no doubt they'll be throwing some money around in the transfer window.

benzema FTW!
it does mean rooney will be able to play in that central striking role more like he does for england and will receive better service from more team minded players. ronaldo was incredible for us when at his best but this was ineveitable and i think will be benificial for the squad.. be gud to hang onto tevez tho

Oh dear, I've made the terrible mistake of quoting just a snippet. His salray will apparently rise by 25% each year, so at the last year of his 5 year contract, then he will be on a wage around that mark.
For his first season, he will 'only' be earning around £9.5m
