Get a heavy sub and a heavy kick, limit the balls off them with L2 (listen at same subjective level of course). You hear it all over 'great masters' that are actually just loud.

Just get any tune with a heavy bass and kick and limit the balls off it. Or the latter of your two.

Things that are close freq-wise, but not the same, basically. Sum and difference products, not totally unlike ring modulation actually. In fact, there's some similarity there in a few ways, thinking about it.
