I don't think so. Not by a long shot. but apparently a lot of dubstep fans think so, so im wonder what the results will be like.

worse case scenario: more people make dub. More record sales for y'all

it's not like releasing shit is a new thing though is it

can't see anything too bad coming from it to be honest, nothing that hasn't happened already.

I'm a little out of the loop, what does Snoop Dogg have to do with dubstep?

He likes it?

someone wanna do the honours?

snoop dogg took eastern jam and put vocals over it basically, some people think it'll ruin dubstep, others like it. Personally it wasn't to my taste but it isn't goign to ruin dubstep, so this thread is silly. :D

i've said it before... i'm not into this whole american rappers taking average dubstep tunes and spitting their shit bars over the top for 2 reasons:
1. It makes dubstep music blend into to all the other shit you hear in the charts.
2. They should stop trying to jump on what's gonna be big.

i dont have anything against snoop dogg gettin in on dubstep in principle

the only thing i have a problem with is snoop dogg millionaire is actually really really reaally shit. Poorly mixed, bad idea - sounds like it ws thrown together in abut half an hour
If he started realesing something good, that would be nice.

i always thought it'd be the spacier electro-y stuff that rappers would end up chatting over, not the crash-bang-whallop apocalyptic banger stuff. snoop over midnight request line would get me pretty moist

Haha that's what I was wondering too!

I've seen his name in this section a few times but always avoided the threads as I doubt there's any quality Dubstep recordings behind his name.

I fell into this thread out of curiosity of the title!

Snoop is pish.

Deep Cover was cool though!

yeah there seems to be alot of those around at the moment.

Some people are just a little bit fundamentalist about their Dubstep.

i think its a bit shit to be honest. However, i am being slightly hypocritical cos i'm a big fan of the widdler and babylon system etc. Snoop Dogg and all those West Coast Rappers can do what they like with Music but i think they ruined Eastern Jam with that snoop dogg millionaire. fucking awful!

Think of the comic potential of this thread had it be R Kelly and not Snoop who had done the track. :D
