hi all, got a gig soon dont really have a name, came with DJ skanky boy... ummm anyone let me know if it sounds alright?

it sounds terrible mate, i would never go and see someone DJ called DJ Skanky Boy... my advice is to keep it simple lol

Seriously though, I called myself DJ N/A (well, just N/A) coz I thought I couldn't DJ... turns out I was wrong - but the point is, take something that means something to you, or just something about you.

You got a nickname you could use..?

Inspiration...

These might jog something...

Scour your music collection and check out the track names - they might provide inspiration.

Think of any nicknames you or mates have had - they sometimes work quite well if they're not offensive.

Grab a thesaurus, and go wild.

Or worst case, you could do a break-core style spoof name. I've seen "Bit Meddler" "Captain Grotwash" "PhetaMean" "Tamo Banter" "Riff Glitchard" and the best one... "BassCunter VS Ratboy Slim" haha

and when you really don't find a name... just call yourself "name not available yet" or "name coming soon"

or "ftsicfan" wich stands for fuck this shit I can't find a name...

Bit Meddler was doing really amazing stuff back in the day. His Christina Aguilera remix and the "Shitmix 2000" are *still* dope
