Not original at all because 80% of their work is remixes, and the sounds aren't particularly original or different.

yes,like Saxon...the main part of that track is from Metallica - Wherever I May Roam.they should at least mention it that it is a remix or something.

Not original at all because 80% of their work is remixes, and the sounds aren't particularly original or different.

I've got no hate for them producing well-made big room anthems, but they don't exactly redefine the sound with every release...

I was actually referring to Nero in that interview.... however i suppose the same point can be applied to C&S.

Chase and Status are reaping what the sewed, for being innovative in their music over a long run in the electronic music scene.

Many of the comments on this board make it sound like they just started cranking out toons with no originality, when in fact, they have been owning entire genres for quite a while now. They have fallen into a comfort zone where they can make a few choons using similar sounds in my book. Its the definition of evolution rather than the straight up change many people are demanding. This isnt indie rock, so dont expect it to be....

Its not so much the sound I am analyzing about them, but the exposure they give the sound to places in the world where it is alot younger than it is in the UK, and many larger cities. Most people who are just being exposed to Dubstep are being so through their music and other household names they have listened to for longer than a decade.

Best way to teach an old dog new tricks is through familiarity of the same reward.
