I was with a couple of friends of mine when they did last summer (one of my friends lived in the Amazon a year and brought some back), and I am absolutely set on going back to South America as soon as I have the money for it and do a series of ayahuasca-trips. Most people I've talked to who have taken it says they literally feel reborn after a trip (or a series of trips), and an enormous understanding and connectedness to the universe. I think it's the most interesting thing I've ever heard of.
Would recommend everyone to check out "Other Worlds" by Jan Kounen.
Oh, and the moral of the story? I think there are ways to overcome one's own ego and actually accept everyone and everything going on around oneself. Including Jack Black.

Me and a few friends were thinking of going to Peru to partake in an ayahuasca ritual, unfortunately I've run into mental difficulties at the present time so it's been postponed, maybe indefinitely.
Fly Lo's blog about when he did DMT is also an interesting read for those who are interested.

I only liked him in high fidelity and be kind rwd (great movie)... I absolutely loath Tenacious D
I find him annoying and self important. But he has his moments I guess. He also was cast as the asshole in Cable Guy (another amazingly hilarious movie) in which I thought he did well in cause he just played himself.

Bored at 2 in the morning, went in the bath, started out as shaving foam glasses then went slightly over the top
