Agreed his films are mostly shit and as an actor on the whole, not so good. However I came to know jack black from the OLDSKOOL Tenacious D TV show and the first tenacious D album (second one wasnt AS great although the film was 100X better than I thought it would be)

But yeah, tenacious D's first album pretty much was the soundtrack to my youth!

DMT didn't make me think I was a vampire or anything, I tripped and got trails and exaggerated colours, sounds and saw some stuff that wasn't there, but I never imagined anything.
