Joe Nice is.... NICE!! I remember meeting him in the pub near the Mass on DMZ 3rd b-day, i recognized him because i saw him at Dour where he teared the place off, and looked at him and he just came like we were friend from long time "hey man what's up??" :D I had a lil chat with him and the man is cool, down to hearth, smiling and willing to talk.

Big up Joe Nice each and every!!!!

Normally threads like this are locked and deleted immediately. I'd like to see the same standard applied for posts about any member/subject that head in this direction. Obviously the agenda around here calls for it to stay open.

The guy made an ass of himself. Let it fucking die already.

? normally?

joe hasn't been slandered or defamed? its just a strong opinion about joe, its not an attack. read the rules. slander and defamation is usually very obvious, because the motivations are mostly juvenile. there's nothing wrong with strong opinions, and without them sites like this wouldn't exist.

there have been situations where people are trying to slander or defame other members of the forum in a clear cut motivational/aggravated manner, and in those situations its moderated accordingly, but thats simply not the case here. internet forums of this size are always riding the grey area between opinion and attack, and there's absolutely no way to make everyone happy. people like to call many things slanderous/elitism/defamation, when most of the time they don't even know what those things really mean. elitism isn't elitism if its an opinion you don't agree with or isn't something that suits your needs. same way that slander isn't the same as calling joe nice arrogant.

2. TROLLING / AGGRESSIVE / ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR

Examples of situations that we consider Trolling /Aggressive or Abusive:

-Baiting/Antagonizing forum members for the sole purpose of dragging them into a conflict or threatening situation.
Not exactly trolling. definitely potentially aggressive and abusive. Not on a banning level I don't think, but definitely warrants having the thread locked so it sinks, or closed and deleted. Again if not for the self pwnage and the laughing hyenas getting their chuckles out of the situation the thread would have had a different fate I imagine.

tbh this has actually turned mostly into a pretty good thread where half the forum is expressing their LOVE for the big man...

I bet Joe nice is sitting behind is computer smiling and wallowing in the appreciation.

yes
ok ok. next time i'll google before i post. 40Hz still does not shred ear drums.
this is a shit thread, although its tear jerking for all the love being shown for Joe, big ups!

but just to clear up one thing - bass/sub/40hz will shred your ears just as much as the highs and mids, just because you can't hear it as well doesn't mean it aint happening - with the latter you just notice it more, thats all!

there are many times i've been at out sub dub or the like and felt my ear drum literally rattle, followed by the smack of a nice crisp snare.

ow!

peace ;)

what it does mean though, is that you've got to get up earlier in the morning to think that this kind of cheap judgmental bullshit is going to ruffle his feathers.

and to those stirring up the UK/US thing, try harder. its like a fucking violin right now. there is no beef, and the more you try and create some, the more you look ridiculous.
bang on mate, there's no beef... dubstep is dubstep and big up all those who big it up....

Ok mate, to think something off someone of which you have no clue is bad enough, but to insult him on a forum which is made up of a community of dubheads that all share a passion ( AND Joe nice in particular) is wayy below the belt.

I 100 % disagree with you, and actually think your idea of putting this thread up is so different to the way most dubstep lovers think, shows hes right alot of people including you dont get it!

i don't like being nasty but use your brain abit before posting i mean come on!
