Jesus. This mix is no joke. Absolutely relentless. Between this, and that Lukki mix I snagged today, I'm going to hold off on downloading mixes for a minute. These are going to get constant play. Nice work. That Skullfucking > Beat the Banker is a bruiser.

The first one I hope. When I hear that mix I think "doomstep". Seriously dark stuff, captures that early (05-06) sound well, and to think all the tunes were by forum members (although some like TRG & Headhunter have got the attention they deserve now). Strictly for the dead of winter; this mix is still one the best in it's field.

I still love:

Ramadanman - Freak Camp Sessions (Early Hessle; dubby minimal lovliness).

Rusko - My Dub Is Heavy / Radio Luz (Before Rusko turned into a nu-rave kid, he made dub. And fucking good dub at that).

And just about EVERY SINGLE MIX on Hotflush's website, espec. Medicate & N16.

Err.. and defo Martyn & Pangaea on MAH, as well as Youngsta's on the Tempa Records Showcase (Aug 2007) - absolute basher!!

Combat Recordings on Sub FM earlier this year - Stormfield, Gunjack and Noiz - 2 hours of rolling and rumbling "under the surface" bangers
