Steady girl, steady! You'll get it eventually! Eh, I miss doing all the shit a bit... No resources here though. I was tempted by a home silkscreen kit yesterday staring at me through the art shop window... Maybe one day.

yea I am having trouble cleaning off the design from the screen....my capillary sheets are thick and rather than the design peeling off it just stretches from the sides and then starts peeling off the part that shouldnt be coming off...AND ITS FRUSTRATING!!! I need to get emulsion remover to salvage two screens... I am on my 3rd one...hopefully this one will work....

Urgh, buy a power jet wash that you use to clean pavements etc.

i used the flat setting on the hose....and its like a power washer....

I am assuming i didnt let the screen dry enough before i burned it...so i am taking a breath...and letting it dry completely for like 2 hours before i burn the design...

success photos will be in the Happy thread...

failure photos will be here.

Are you putting it over a light box for long enough?

Oh, I've always used UV light. Either that, or the sun. Not sure if regular light does the trick?

General light bulb should be fine, I used to do it for 10 minutes. Altho it's been a few years since I've done any silkscreening.

Having drunk far too much coffee 2day in lieu of alcohol[on a 2 week detox] and therefore still buzzing and wide awake when I'd rather be asleep] :(

I fell asleep for three hours this afternoon and can't go out drinking anyway, so I am wide awake :(

I'm waiting for his reply. I'm still hoping he has a bit of decency left in him. But he hasn't even told me it's up...

And before anyone even thinks anything, no, I'm not imagining my input, we had it at exhibition last year, spent hours coming up with the idea and technicals and credited it as a collective piece.
